WORLD AIDS DAY               ‘Episteme’ Science club of Mar Osthatheos Training College Perumpilavu in association with IQAC conducted a " Cancer Awareness Programme"  on 22nd November 2022. The welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Nisha Mammu (Asst. Prof in Natural Science). A talk by Raji V G, Health Inspector in charge of Perumpilavu  Primary Health Center was held at Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium.                National Cancer Awareness Day is observed every year on November 7 in order to raise awareness about cancer and to make it a global health priority. According to World Health Organization , cancer is considered to be the second most fatal disease. The theme for World Cancer Day 2022 - 2024 is ' close the care gap'. The theme focuses on the inequality in the distribution of Cancer care.                The coordinators of the program were Mrs. Nisha Mammu (Asst.Prof in Natural Science) option and Mrs Sindhu K (Asst.Prof in Physical Science).. DIGITAL POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

DIGITAL POSTER MAKING COMPETITION                A Digital poster making competition was conducted by the science club of Mar Osthatheos Training College, 'Episteme' in association with IQAC. The program was conducted as a part of National Science day on 28 th   February 2023. The theme for the competition was ‘Global Science for Global Well-being’. The last date given for the submission of posters was 3 rd March,2023.   Eleven students participated in the competition first prize was won by Niya K Nelson (Physical Science) and the second price by Sanila Mary Davis (Mathematics).The mementoes for the winners were distributed on March 22 by the Principal Dr.Limsy John T.
