National Cancer Awareness Day               ‘Episteme’ Science club of Mar Osthatheos Training College Perumpilavu in association with IQAC conducted a " Cancer Awareness Programme"  on 22nd November 2022. The welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Nisha Mammu (Asst. Prof in Natural Science). A talk by Raji V G, Health Inspector in charge of Perumpilavu  Primary Health Center was held at Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium.                National Cancer Awareness Day is observed every year on November 7 in order to raise awareness about cancer and to make it a global health priority. According to World Health Organization , cancer is considered to be the second most fatal disease. The theme for World Cancer Day 2022 - 2024 is ' close the care gap'.
